Throuh You and In You

Ronnie Floyd says in his book, "10 Things Every Minister Needs to Know"

"You cannot expect God to do something through you if you are not allowing HIM to work in you every day of your life.If you want to see what God will do through you, it all begins with what God is doing in you".

Do you ever ask God to use you even though you spend no time letting Him work in you? He works in us in our personal prayer/study/worship time. So let's not beat around the bush--------

Can you ask God to use you and be disappointed when he doesn't if you aren't spending your DAILY time with Him?

I think sometimes people get more frustrated with the WAY God uses them. They think that they are supposed to join the mission field in Uzbekistan when sometimes kind words do the job on a back slidden brother or sister. If you aren't spending time with God everyday, you have no right to get frustrated....come to think of it, do we ever have any legitimate right to be disappointed with God? I know we get disappointed.....it's human nature. But if you think about it, he knows what's best for us....as hard as that is for us to accept. I think I may have gotten off the subject......

No, we never have a legitimate reason to be dissappointed with God. It sure is hard to simply trust Him when we are taught that we are supposed to take control of our own lives.
